Providing excellence in Social Services to the Rotorua community. Mana Social Services are a free, confidential and experienced team who are compassionate and multi-skilled.

They offer a wide range of services and programmes which include:

  • Counselling: free crisis counselling, anger management counselling and non-mandated family violence counselling for young people and their whanau.
  • Restorative Justice
  • Mentoring and Supporting families and working with children to keep them in the education system.

Mana Social Services Trust provides free competent professional social services to the Rotorua community.

We can assist you with:

  • Historical abuse
  • How to safely manage anger to avoid family violence
  • Personal problems
  • Relationship issues
  • Sexual or physical abuse
  • Safe disciplining of children

Our services and programmes include:

  • Awhi Whanau Programme aimed at keeping tamariki/children in the education system and maintaining and strengthening the whanau/family unit
  • Clean Anger Programme for youth and their whanau/family who are committed to changing anti-social behaviour
  • Non-mandated Violence Programme for children and adults, and victims and offenders
  • Range of counselling
  • Resolving grief and loss
  • Restorative Justice processes, allowing victims to be heard and giving offenders the opportunity to put things right
  • Social Worker in Schools supporting whanau/family in improving the educational, welfare and health outcomes of children
  • Whanau conflict resolution
