Wera Aotearoa Charitable Trust (WACT)

Supporting the health and wellbeing of whanau and communities.

We provide a high level of community development services with the purpose of growing the skills, knowledge and potential of those we serve.

We have extensive knowledge and experience in assisting communities, families and individuals towards capability building strategies that are self sustaining, empowering and profitable.

The drive of WERA Aotearoa Charitable Trust is clear, “To see families and their communities become healthier, more independent and autonomous.”

Individuals

Do you need help finding a job, identifying your career, learning how to make good decisions, or just don’t know where to start?

We’ll either assess you for your career, train you for employment or motivate you to achieve your personal goals. Don’t give up, we have staff who are trained and ready to support you in the pursuit of your career or life dreams.

Employers

Have you got a vacancy you need to fill but don’t have the time to find, vet and recruit the right person? Leave it to us, we can do this for you for free. We have a range of services for local employers which include Industry Partnerships, Recruitment and Vetting services.

Whanau

Do you need help achieving some of your whanau goals and aspirations? Are you finding it hard to come up with whanau goals to keep everyone on track and focused? Don’t worry, we can facilitate this and help you. Our whanau services are focused on supporting whanau towards their goals and dreams by maximising their strengths and enhancing their areas of improvement.

Community

It’s about supporting communities towards independence, we work with communities to generate their own solutions. This will support the self sufficiency, empowerment and independence of local communities and the whanau / families that live within them
