YMCA Tauranga

The YMCA Tauranga provides great opportunities for people of all ages in the Western Bay of Plenty. From their Active Lifestyles for Seniors (ALFS) programmes to sport and recreation to free training courses, the YMCA aims to enable individuals and families to develop physically, mentally and spiritually so that they may enjoy a healthy quality of life.

As the leading provider of after school care (OSCAR) and holiday programmes for school age children in the Western Bay of Plenty, the YMCA Tauranga operates five community-based OSCAR centres.

YMCA Tauranga's vision is to "build strong kids, strong families and strong communities". As a community based not-for-profit organisation the YMCA's purpose is to grow people and strengthen the community.
