Sometimes we find ourselves in trying situations and need somebody to share our concerns with. Art therapy can help us to clarify and make sense of what is happening in our lives by utilising the creative arts and helping us to find find ways to address our challenges.
Art therapy is especially good for people who find it difficult to find the right words to express themselves. This includes children, people who have experienced trauma, or people who have an intellectual or medical disability.
Each session is specifically tailored to your needs and is safe and confidential.
We begin with talking about what has brought you to therapy and deciding what your goals are. This givies us time to get to know each other, and helps us to work towards your needs.
