Citizens Advice Bureau Rotorua

Citizens Advice Bureau provides free, impartial and confidential advice and advocacy to everyone.

They take the time to listen to you and equip you with the information, options and support that fit your needs.

As well as  daily information, advice and referral service, the Rotorua Bureau offers the following specialist services:

The Bureau is also the first point of contact for new migrants seeking assistance in settling in to the "Kiwi" way of life.

  • Free legal appointments on Mondays at 5.00pm and Fridays at 1.00pm
  • Access to a telephone for local calls, fax, photocopier and public computer
  • Advice from trained Consumer Specialists and Tenancy Specialists.
  • Support from trained Employment Specialists.
  • ACC Advocacy (by appointment)
  • Specialist Beneficiary Advocacy available for clients having difficulties communicating with Work and Income
  • Immigration Advice
  • Justices of the Peace, including JP clinics on Mondays and Wednesdays 12noon - 1.30pm
  • Assistance with filling out forms 
  • The Rotorua Volunteer Guide

They have a huge range of pamphlets and information resources available in the Bureau.
